PHASE Connect — Privacy Policy
1. Who we are
PHASE Connect is made by TrevBeats Multimedia LLC ("we", "us"). It is the companion app to PHASE, our recording software for Mac. Contact: drumpimp@gmail.com.
2. Data we collect
None. PHASE Connect has no sign‑in, no user accounts and no servers of ours that the app talks to. We do not collect names, e‑mail addresses, device identifiers, usage analytics, crash reports, location, contacts, photos or any other personal information.
3. What the app uses on your device, and why
- Microphone — only when you record on an audio track in STUDIO. Recordings are written to the app's own folder on your device (visible in Files ▸ On My iPhone/iPad ▸ PHASE Connect). Audio is never uploaded by us.
- Local network / Bonjour — to find and control PHASE running on your Mac on the same Wi‑Fi (or over a USB‑C cable). Traffic goes directly between your phone and your Mac; nothing passes through us. Pairing uses a six‑digit code shown by PHASE on the Mac.
- Bluetooth / USB MIDI — to receive notes from a MIDI keyboard or controller you connect. No data leaves the device.
- Files — when you import audio or export mixdowns, stems or a session, you pick the file or destination yourself through Apple's Files / share sheet. We only see what you send, and only on your device.
4. Sharing and exports
MIXDOWN, STEMS and SEND TO PHASE produce files on your device and hand them to the iOS share sheet (AirDrop, Files, Mail and so on). Where those files go is entirely your choice; the app does not send them anywhere on its own.
5. Purchases
Optional in‑app purchases (such as the STUDIO unlock) are handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. We receive no payment details. Apple's handling of purchases is covered by Apple's Privacy Policy.
6. Third parties, analytics and advertising
PHASE Connect contains no third‑party analytics, advertising or tracking SDKs, and it does not track you across apps or websites. The bundled instrument recordings are licensed sound libraries; they involve no data collection.
7. Children
PHASE Connect is rated 4+ and collects no data from anyone, including children.
8. Your data, your control
Everything the app creates lives in its folder on your device. Deleting a session or the app deletes that data. Because we hold no data about you, there is nothing for us to access, export or erase on request — but you can always write to us with questions.
9. Changes to this policy
If the app ever changes in a way that affects your privacy, we will update this page and the effective date above.
